Recently, The History Channel ran a series called “Barbarians Rising.” It addressed the history of the collapse of the Roman Empire, which took place over 600 years. Initially, the uprising of barbarians was due to the resistance the Romans found from certain leaders of the tribes being overrun, in the empire’s expansions outward. Then, after Rome realized it could no longer be colonial at will, its ultimate demise came from outer attacks on the empire’s defensive boundaries. The series highlighted several specific warrior leaders (forced to be warriors by circumstances relative to Roman brutality) which included Hannibal (North African from Carthage) and Attila [the Hun], both of whom introduced aspects of new military strategy and new military weaponry, which enhanced their successes.
As I watched this series, the brutality of all the close (hand-to-hand) combat, where swords and shields were the main arms of ancient soldiers, it made me think about what Nostradamus’ future says is coming. He clearly shows Europe being invading by hordes of barbarous soldiers, who are willing to slash and burn in all-out savagery.
Despite promoters being able to sell “ringside” seat tickets, so Westerners can be spectators at some glorified “cage match,” where the fighters make millions or die trying [baseball, football, basketball and soccer all qualify as spectator sports of battle, where injuries are commonplace], there is no will in the spectators to get dirty fighting … that I can see. The wealth of the West allows us the luxury to buy such gladiator entertainment. Sometimes, I wonder if cable and network news tells us about the latest airport bombing, just for entertainment purposes. Breaking for any commercial is akin to saying, “Now, on the lighter side ….”
In this detached, drone operator world, where soldiers sit at desks and play warfare games, where real people are blown apart across the globe from a button pushed thousands of miles away, we cannot even recall the trench to trench tactics of World War I. Modern Americans [beyond the original “native Americans’] have never experienced an invader unexpectedly coming into our village or town, killing and raping at will, with any survivors taken as slaves – the spoils of war. Therefore, modern Westerners have no “stomach” for old-time blood-and-guts massacres, where charging blindly into waves of machine gun fire and explosions of mustard gas requiring readiness in putting on a gas mask are necessary skills to possess [bravery and self-preservation]. We have all-volunteer armies, with no draft or required service, so we can let someone else do the dirty work. Instead of being forced to learn how a weapon can save one’s life and defend one’s borders, we have soft-bellied liberals cry out for gun controls. We want no one to ever know the horrors of guns, when it is not the tool but the hatred behind the tool that must always be guarded against … be that tool a plowshare or a hammer.
In that sense, we enjoy the benefits of the Roman Empire, such that a layer of fat has become our peacetime disposable income, which is enjoyed by many – those we call the middle class and higher. We are able to occasionally dress up in our best toga and go to the arena, to watch our slaves perform. We love the artificial feel of power we have, when we are prompted to signal “thumbs up” or “thumbs down,” sitting as honored guests of the Emperor, watching those we have as our slaves do all the fighting for us. We love theatrics.
Friends, Romans, countrymen [and women] lend me your ears! It is time to wake up and smell the coffee. The expansion made by our governmental leaders [many long ago and long gone], those forcing our will into all places around the world, has made us great, dangerous enemies, of whom we must be aware. The rumblings of change so loudly thundering around us cannot be ignored; even though we feel a false security that makes us blind to the signs. We continue on as we have become accustomed, because we know no other recourse … now that secularism has killed religion.
Nostradamus wrote some variation of the word “Barbarian” [13] in thirty-three quatrains. The variations include: Barb‘, Barbar, barbar, Barbare, barbare, Barbares, barbares, Barbari, Barbarin, barbarique, Barbaris, Barbe, and barbe. He even wrote of Hannibal in two other quatrains, as “Annibal” and “Annibalique.” In his letter of explanation to King Henry II of France, Nostradamus wrote, “sera la secte Barbarique du tout des Latins grandement affligee & deschassee. Puis le grand empire de l’Antechrist commencera dans la Atila & Zerses descender en nombre grand & innumerable”. (page 10 of the Letter to Henry II)
That small segment of Nostradamus’ letter of explanation, which says what can be found written into the quatrains [and realizing that an ampersand is a mark denoting “Stop! Notice the importance of what was just stated before reading on!”], can be easily translated to state:
“will be there sect Barbaric to the whole of the Mediterranean shorelines once ruled by the Holy Roman Empire [the “Latins”]. [Those there will be] greatly afflicted! & [They will be] expelled, chased, ejected, thrust out, or driven away [in that affliction]. At that time, him [who leads the] great empire [of the West, meaning the Pope of Rome, will be] with the Antechrist [meaning secular – Roman – and living against the teachings of Christ]. [Then] will commence within there Attila [the leader of mongrel hordes who seeks death to the “Christian” empire]! & [Then] Zerses [the Persian leader – Iran’s supreme leader] to descend in number equal to the defenses of that empire [great]. & [This invasion will be so vast, those coming to destroy the empire are foretold to be] innumerable.”
Immediately following this series of line segments [between punctuation marks and ampersands] explaining another onset of “Barbarians Rising,” Nostradamus explained: “tellement que la venue du sainct Esprit procedant du 48. degrez sera transmigration, deschassant à l’abomination de l’Antechrist, faisant guerre contre le royal que sera le grand vicaire de Jesus Christ”. (bottom of page 10 to top of page 11 of the Henry Letter)
This then explains:
“in sort that there issued from the holy Spirit proceeding from the 48th degrees will be another transmigration [D-Day Part Two], [when this second coming of a European liberation will be] chasing, expelling, driving out, ejecting and thrusting out [all who will have become] with the abomination with the Antichrist. Packing and bundling war against [led by] him royal [only the Royals of England are left to fit this bill] who will be him noble vicar to Jesus Christ.”
The 48th degree is latitude:
While this lays out a scenario of divine prophecy, any number of years [most miserable] can be: a. before this begins; b. after this begins; and c. before this ends. The “crux of the biscuit” [a Zappaism – which I see as meaning the “point of the consecration wafer being consumed”] is the West is following along behind a great abomination, which is the farce that Christianity has become, which causes another abomination to seek to destroy us – they see us as we cannot see ourselves – brought on by the power of the Holy Spirit – to cleanse the impurity clean.
You can’t get to heaven with any sin onya. And you can’t play God and absolve the sins you love to keep doing – not even by writing some new laws to say, “I approve this sinning.”
The moral of the story is “Get right with Christ now!” See how much you have played a role in this abomination by your support of politicians and dependency on ideals of philosophical governments, and how little you have done by giving away a little bit of money to the poor [or a profiteer posing as a collector of monies for the poor].
The British Monarchy has its problems, as they are not innocent lambs of holy blood. They have become mixed breeds, through marriage to commoners. Still, it will be a heart of deep conviction, courage, and an Arthurian drive that will correct the problems of tomorrow, which we are still creating today. The reality is most of us will be suffering too much to realize what is going on “over there,” when life as we know it over here has check out.
Nostradamus wrote what can be translated as “Brussels” six times. The French name for Brussels is “Bruxelles,” but translators have taken “Brucelles” as meaning “Bruxelles,” due to capitalization of the “B.” The Dutch spelling is “Brussel.”
Here is the list of Nostradamus’ quatrains that appear to indicate Brussels, and the spellings they contain:
Bruceles 1 IX-49
Brucelle 2 II-50, VI-47
Brucelles 3 II-16, IV-81, X-54
In no quatrain did Nostradamus spell the word “Bruxelles.” Here is quatrain X-54, which some authors of The Prophecies have shown Nostradamus as having written “Bruxelles,” instead of the evidence that he wrote “Brucelles.”
In French, the word “brucelles” means “tweezers.” Capitalized and alone, “Brucelles” means some very powerful “Tweezers.” That would imply some very strong hairs that need to be plucked.
The root of word for the name of the city Bruxelles is said to be “marsh home” related. Wikipedia writes of the history of the name: “The most common theory of the origin of Brussels’ name is that it derives from the Old Dutch Broekzele or Broeksel, meaning marsh (broek) and home (zele / sel) or ‘home in the marsh.’” It has been identified as “the place on the swamp,” because the first settlement was built on swamp-marsh land that was drained. Such an endeavor would be for defensive purposes, where all enemy attacks would have to go through the surrounding wetlands first.
Since the year 966, the name of Brussels has evolved. According to Wikitionaire, the etymology is: “(966) Bruocsella ; (XIe siècle) Bruocesll ; (1047) Brucselle ; (1062) Brvsela ; (1095) Brucsella ; (XIIe siècle) Brussella ; (XIIIe siècle) Bruxelle.” In those examples, the spelling with a “c” was acceptable. However,Nostradamus wrote his quatrains in the 16th century (XVIe siècle), so the “x” would have been the proper spelling for his time. Still, the spellings that lead one to think “Brussels” do nothing to exclude how all other meanings remain viable in interpretation as well.
Whenever Nostradamus is thought to have misspelled a word, the possibility of anagram comes into play. In the case of “Brucele” and “Bruceles,” where only one “l” is present (or one “l” is missing), there is not only the implication of “Brussels” as the intended translation, but the primary purpose is hidden and underlying. Anagrams found in “misspelled” words prove to show how a predicted reality could be identified as “ce Brusle” or “ce Brûle.” This alternate view is related to the Old French verb “brusler” (now “brûler”), which means, “to burn, fire, inflame; singe, scald, scorch; to be on fire; to consume with fire.” (from the Randle Cotgrave 1611 Dictionaire) In this sense, the intent of “great inflammation,” due to the capitalization of a verb, can be found reflected in places – particularly in Brussels, Belgium. Certainly, when bombs are set off they explode in a ball of flames, leaving behind plumes of smoke. Acts of terrorism certainly “inflame” fears and “burn” the patience of people whose faith is in democracy and the rights of everyone being coddled.
On an esoteric level, when Brussels’ name roots are considered, that area of the world can then be seen as “bogged down” in a conflict that “sets fire” to a political-religious issue [Israel-Palestine], with little that can be done quickly to quench those flames. The defensive logistics of in a marsh works against the defenders, once the enemy is within the walls. Everyone’s boots are stuck in the mud of legalities and protection of the minority rights. In fact, trying to locate the “fire setters” requires “tweezers,” as they are able to slip into cracks, where normal reach and grasp is unable to securely take hold.
In the three quatrains where Brussels is most closely spelled correctly, as “Brucelles” (seeing “c” as “ç,” and the “s” sound relative to that of “x.”), the one numbered X-54 appears more apt as applying to the recent news of bombs set off at the Brussels airport, where at least 30 people have been killed. In that quatrain, Brussels stands alone, as the last word of the quatrain. The word that is on the opposite side of the ampersand that isolates “Brucelles” is “Malings.” The pairing of those two words makes quatrain VI-47 become important too. While quatrain VI-47 shows a spelling of “Brucelle,” it includes the capitalized word “Malignes.” The word “Maligne” is the Old French feminine spelling of “Maling.” The two quatrains where those words appear should be considered first in interpretation, in order to grasp a glimpse at what the future may hold for Brussels, relative to terrorist bombings in 2016.
The main theme statement (line one) of quatrain X-54 states, “Nee en ce mond par concubie fertiue,” which can translate to say, “Born in this world by laid together fruit produced.” The word “concubie” is Latin. It is the vocative singular of “concubus,” being a descriptive term for “it that lies in sleep,” or a collective whole that is “lain together.” This use should now be read as identifying a “sleeper cell.” The word “fertive” is not truly a word, but can be read as a continuation of Latin, where “ferti” is the genitive singular for of “fertum,” which is “a sort of sacrificial cake.” The “-ue” ending (not “-ve”) is then the vocative singular form of “-us,” acting in the present tense following vowels, as the perfect active participle. Thus, the “sleeper cell” is seen collectively as “having been sacrificial cake.” All individuals were then born and sent out into the world as sacrifices. This main theme can then be seen identifying suicide bombers on foreign soil. This then identifies the terrorist as suicide bombers of Islamic origins, attacking places in Europe.
Because the main theme is the theme that all subsequent lines stem from, line four is related to this element of sacrifice. The ampersand preceding “Brucelles” makes Brussels be importantly identified as a place mired in suicidal attacks, where pincers are needed to find the culprits. Leading up to that, line four states, “Et amené à Malings.” which can translate as, “And led to Malignant ones.” Because an ampersand separates “Brucelles” from that statement, many places in the “world” will also find “Malignant ones led” there too, but one important example will be seen in Brussels.
In quatrain VI-47, Nostradamus wrote:
Entre deux monts les deux grans assemblés
Delaisseront leur simulte secrette:
Brucelle & Dolle par Langres acablés,
Pour à Malignes executer leur peste.
In line three we find “Brucelle,” with it separated by ampersand from “Dolle.” The word “Dolle,” and the word “Langres,” both refer to communes in the Franche-Comté region of France. It refers to Dôle, in the eastern Jura department, and Langres, in the Haute-Marne department, south of Belgium, bordering on Switzerland and just west of the French-German border.
While this can be an indication of where further outbreaks of terrorism may be found, it is more important to see how all three places in Europe are leading to the line four statement, where “Malignes” is again stated. The translation of “Pour à Malignes executer leur peste” can read as, “For with Malignant ones to execute their plague.” As far as acts of terrorism are concerned, bombs going off at airports and attacks in theaters can be seen as a “plague,” because “death” is the result.
It is important to understand that the capitalized word, “Malin” (in the French of today), is rooted in the Latin word “malignus,” with the capitalized spelling (“Malin“) indicates “the Devil.” Thus, the meanings of the lower case word are, “wicked, malicious, spiteful, and malignant.” That identifies Islamic terrorists in Europe as agents of Satan. In the Old French dictionary of Randle Cotgrave, “Maling” is said to translate as, “Malignant, ill-will, grudge-bearing, despiteful, malicious; knavish, hurtful, shrewd, villainous; naughty, lewd, vicious, and delighting in mischief.” Therefore, when line four says such people will be “led to” such malignancies, they will not be “lone wolves” acting from their own plots and plans. The ones from who they will prove to be “Born” and sent out “into” the “world,” as the “sacrificial cake” designed to bear “Ill-will,” will be their Muslim fathers and mothers back home.
According to Wiktionaire, the word “malin” has a “chiefly dated or biblical” meaning, said to be: “Malicious, sadistic; which likes to do or say hurtful things for fun.” Another “obsolete” use is said to be: “Nocive [Hurtful, injurious]; pernicious [Causing much harm in a subtle way. Causing death or injury; deadly.].” Because Nostradamus was a divinely inspired prophet, all biblical meaning must take serious consideration. When Latin is part of the translation, one must see Latin as the language of the Roman Catholic Church. That too shows the religious meaning associated with all the prophecies, with some quatrains more specifically indicating Rome. All of that means these reflections of terrorism have religious properties to be considered; and The Prophecies of Nostradamus are quite similar to The Revelation of John.
The capitalized spelling of “Malin” is also identified as having a “medical” definition, where “Malignant” is the translation. This use shows how dangerous and deadly cancers are defined. In this way, one should see the presence of Islamic sleeper cells in Europe (in particular those seen now in Brussels), who are those sent by parents who bore children in their Islamic homelands to be suicidal killers, as the signs of a deadly cancer present. On a Biblical level, important Malignant ones can be seen as parallels to the plagues that befell Egypt and the Pharaoh.
In a “Holy War” prophesied to come (here now for some time), the plague of pathogens that have been entering foreign bodies is no different than the plagues coming upon earth in The Revelation. The only cure, at this point, is a full injection of Christianity (the anti-virus that will seek out and destroy the foreign religious attackers of the body) or a full injection of the virus itself (Islam, which will seek out and destroy all non-Islamic elements in a foreign body). If the former is the choice, the death of Socialism and all forms of government that seek to separate State from Faith will also be killed or forced to comply with theocratic forms of society. If the latter is chosen, Europe (including Brussels) will lose ALL of its precious “freedoms” through surrender to forced conversion – with no compromises possible. Injecting that virus in hopes the body will develop an immunity to forced religion will backfire (according to the quatrains Nostradamus wrote, where the suffering of conversion parallels the treatment of Jews in Nazi Germany).
According to Nostradamus, this IS the future of Europe – one way or another. European non-converts are prophesied to end up like this.
While much is said about a war between Christians and Muslims, there is little that reflects the presence of Christianity in Europe today. The changes of Europe’s political and philosophical evolution from religious-based beliefs to Socialist Democracies, where everyone is welcome to join in the politics of “freedom,” the influx of immigrants over the past 30 years has taken advantage of that openness. Europe has exposed themselves to contagions of all kinds, with equal rights proudly given to all forms of deadly disease. European countries are, thus, themselves the Malignancies that Europe has created by allowing the royal heads of European kingdoms to roll and the blood of Jesus of Nazareth to be spilled into the earth – in Paris particularly. The replacement of that holy “virus protection” – the presence of a mutated gene that prevents death by plague – with a man-made philosophy, one that falsely believes all people are equal in the same body, has opened itself up to injections of poisonous cells that have duplicated and replicated like a sickness that has grown to the point of great weakness. Death is almost a certainly now, unless large sections of cancerous tumors are cut out and radiation treatments begun in earnest.
Alas … Belgium is the land of freedoms, where it is against the law to forbid a cancer cell its right to grow stronger, even if it kills its host body. It is almost too late to pray to God for help; and if God answers the moans of the wayward, I doubt He will tell Europe (and all Western forms of Democracy) what they want to hear. Might as well pray to “Malin” … the Devil. This Malignant tumor runs deep, far and wide.
UPDATE March 23, 2016: A news report says that a crowd gathered at a memorial for the dead in Brussels and “broke out in a heartfelt rendition of John Lennon’s Imagine.” That proves my point about how sick Europe has become, without any religious identification. They destroyed that genetic link to Christ in the 18th century and now wallow in Europe’s inability to understand how the rest of the world either still does have religious beliefs or it has become atheist (the Communist regimes ban all forms of religion, so the State becomes the deity of the people). Lennon wrote an anthem for atheism.
John Lennon proudly bellowed out, “Imagine there’s no countries / It isn’t hard to do / Nothing to kill or die for / And no religion too / Imagine all the people / Living life in peace…”
Can you hear the lunacy of those simpleton lyrics? Sing these instead: “Imagine there is no Belgium … because the terrorists took it away … It was kill or be killed … so Belgians just gave their country away. The reality is the people are now living life in captivity … ah ha ha ha ha”
The news report also said one sign said, “Pray for Belgium,” while another said, “Islam … it’s not terrorism.”
Okay, who are the prayers sent to? Does “Pray for Belgium” mean send a request to the United Nations for funds to protect the airport? Or are the prayers to Allah for the loss of two terrorists, since the rights of Muslims to pray have been protected, but not Christians [Imagine there are no pray-ers]? If Islam does not stand for terrorism, does that mean Islam stands for freedom fighters for Allah … and does that mean killing Europeans associated with Christianity is not terrorism? After all, ask the French about their Resistance during WWII. They were not terrorizing the Germans without purpose, were they? They killed for freedom. Some call that terrorism, but others call that godly devotion, patriotism, and preservation of family.
I wonder whose delusions and imaginations are closer to reality. Brussels is like a mole changing colors on one’s skin. That change is a sign of deeper problems that need to be addressed. Simply cutting the mole off does not solve anything.
I posted this article back in 2020, probably when the news was festering with Harry having married a mulatto and brought more unclean genes into the royal bloodline. Charles was not happy and Queen Elizabeth II was still hanging onto life. She was not thrilled about Harry and his choice of ‘main squeeze’ either. The reason I re-publish this on a Nostradamus site is simple. Nostradamus wrote much about this royal collapse, which has been hinted at and guessed about for decades, but (like everything else of importance) the public has a short attention span and is easily distracted by other circuses passing through the news.
When one realizes the key to seeing deep intent and purpose in The Prophecies of Nostradamus is understanding the letters (Preface & Epistle to Henry II), which the quatrains must support, Nostradamus wrote that the future he wrote about would be when “Reigns, Church, & Sect will become diametrically opposite.” That means our future will be diametrically opposite to the way rulers were in his days (and prior). Under the heading of “Reigns” is the British Royal Bloodline. There are many quatrains that piece together to tell this story that was my insight into this article that I posted in August 2020.
With the said …
—–
Royalty is ALL about having the blood of Jesus of Nazareth in one’s DNA makeup. This is why the British say, “God save the Queen [or King].”
Royals are deemed so because they are God’s children through bloodline to the Son of God [Holy Blood Holy Grail stuff]. Royalty have become impure due to cross-breeding with commoners, which has become a necessity due to a shortage of royal marriage partners. This shortage has come via the French commoners cutting the heads off of their royal bloodline and the Russian Communists shooting their royals with bullets, greatly reducing how many royals there are to mate amongst themselves. Royals do not have last names because they are believed to be “in the name of Christ,” through the blood of Jesus. They have “houses” that they oversee as saints. Henry VIII used that to kick out the Romans and make himself the “pope” of a new Church that saw God’s Will the way he saw it.
The execution of Tsar Nicholas II and his family at Ekaterinburg
King Edward VIII abdicated his throne because his loins drew him to desire the commoner divorcee Wallis Simpson, whom he married after abdication. That proved bloodline does not automatically make one a Saint; but royalty is based on faith in that principle. There is no other reason for royals to rule, based on birth and blood.
What successful nation has ever been run by a commoner?
In this Thursday, June 20, 2019, photo released by China’s Xinhua News Agency, visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping, left, and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un wave from an open top limousine as they travel along a street in Pyongyang, North Korea. (Ju Peng/Xinhua via AP)
Prince Charles is not right in the head. The inbreeding of royals has historically led to some monstrosities, which had to be hidden and kept from making public appearances. Charles is perverse in nature and his royal mother knows this quite well. The body of a young woman was found murdered on Queen Elizabeth II’s estate in Sandringham (2011). The woman was 17 years of age and of Latvian blood. Charles married a young Diana Spencer when he had absolutely no desire to go between her legs. There are those who think Charles ordered Diana killed, after she divorced him and probably threatened to take the children from him permanently. A threat of that nature would have gained the support of the Queen, thinking royal princes could not ever be taken from the royal crown.
Diana, being the mother, would have had the evidence of DNA on her side in any legal proceedings that would determine parentage. Prince William is a half-royal simply because Randy Andy raped Diana after her marriage to Charles, and the expectation of marriage was royal children. It was Prince Andrew that got Diana pregnant with William, and the adult prince is the spitting image of Andrew (not Charles). While William has some Jesus DNA in him, his blood is diluted. A court would have ordered blood samples be taken and lo and behold! William would not have proved to be Charles’ son.
Harry is the son of common Diana and a common British military officer who was responsible for protecting the princess. It has been publicly said that Charles did not want a second child from Diana. The reason is he never had one child from her and was not attracted to her beauty. Harry is then as common as a mongrel dog on the streets of London, with absolutely none of Jesus’ DNA in him. A court would have found that evidence clear, ruling it completely within Diana’s right to take both children as hers alone, because Charles is not her husband (as in the father of her children).
Now Harry has married a mulatto commoner, who has given birth to a most common baby. The two commoners refuse to do the work of the Lord (Jesus Christ reborn in human bodies descended from his blood), because being saints is abhorrent and foreign to them. The Queen knows this and fears God will punish her if she continues with this charade. So, it is off to Hollywood where two commoners that hate the entire farce that royalty has become can live like the common masses that bow down and serve Mammon. Satan take your neophyte pledges!
The sad moral to this story is Queen Elizabeth, along with her husband Prince Philip, are the last vestiges of full royal blood left alive, still pure (on modern standards). This is evident, seeing how Charles is a pervert (married to a commoner that looks like a horse), Andrew has been banished for being linked to a sexual predator, and Princess Anne was left to seek common military officers to marry and breed with. Of all the grandchildren in line to replace Elizabeth, William and Kate (another commoner) seem to be the most competent. However, they will have to devote their souls to God to receive His royal blessing. This means that when Queen Elizabeth dies (and she will be 94 in April 2020) the future of the world will be in great jeopardy, as the Church of Rome (like the Church of England) is no longer a holy institution. God please save our planet from ourselves!
When people stand next to me in social events, those who know I write books about Nostradamus, it seems casual conversation often finds that person saying, “He predicted Hitler, even naming him … right?”
I guess they cannot understand when they hear me say that I have a new way of understanding what Nostradamus wrote. Whenever I do a presentation that generally covers what it is I do with The Prophecies, I always say, “Forget what you think you know about Nostradamus, because everything you have read or seen on TV is wrong.”
I imagine people hear that and still think I am copying what many other people have said Nostradamus meant, prior to me writing about his work; and, because televised sensationalism says, “Nostradamus named Hitler,” many people tend to remember that above all things.
For that reason, I want to make it publicly clear that Nostradamus did not name Hitler. Admittedly, it is easy to see how several quatrains fit nicely to the history of the Third Reich and some events of World War II. Still, no one knew to look for Hitler before he rose to power, because Nostradamus wrote Hister in some quatrains that seem to be focusing on Germany.
In three quatrains, Nostradamus wrote variations of the word “Hister,” which has been read as close to Hitler. In quatrain V-29, beginning the fourth line, he wrote, “D’Hister.” Near the end of the second line in quatrain II-24, Nostradamus wrote “Hister.” Near the beginning of the third line, in quatrain IV-68, the word is written in the lower case, as “hister.” At no place did Nostradamus write “Hitler.”
V-29 La liberté ne sera recovréce,
L’occupera noir fier vilain inique:
Quant la matiere du pont sera ouvrée,
D’Hister, Venise faschee la republique.
II-24 Bestes farouches de faim fleuves tranner,
Plus part du camp encontre Hister sera:
En caige de fer le grand sera treisner,
Quand rin enfant de Germain observera.
IV-68 En l’an bien proche non esloigné de Venus.
Les deux plus grans de l’Asie & d’Affrique
Du Ryn & hister qu’on dira sont venus,
Crys, pleurs à Malte & coste ligustique.
The capitalized spelling of “Hister” refers to the Latin name for what is now called the Danube River. The lower case spelling becomes the meaning behind the name, such that in Latin “hister = histrio,” or “an actor.” A family of beetles is named “Histeridae,” or “Clown beetles,” which fake their deaths when threatened. Thus, they “act” dead. In French, the word “histrion” is rooted in the ancient Roman, as a now obsolete usage bearing the meaning “comedian, mime, slapstick actor, or stage actor.” Keep all that in mind.
Before I can even begin to explain the three quatrains that contain this word, I need to address my statement that several quatrains fit nicely to past history, when Adolph Hitler and his henchmen ruled Germany. There is only one reason why a prophecy of Nostradamus, written in 1555, came true in the 1940’s, which is now our past. That reason is to prove the source is not a man, but God. If seeing those quatrains accurately detailing known events during World War II makes you believe all of The Prophecies are holy and will all come true unless you act from faith now to stop the future from happening, then those same quatrains need not be reviewed.
On the other hand, if you have not gained absolute faith and refuse to act on anything because you believe Nostradamus made up The Prophecies, then all of those WWII quatrains were just teasers. The reason for this is a prophecy is meant to warn you (and everyone alive around you) that The Prophecies tell your fate. Due to that little axiom, “History repeats,” those that seemed to be predicted, and then seemed to come true in hindsight, they will come again in the same places. If you thought Hitler was someone evil who ruled in the past, then you will see another come just like him. You control this result by your actions or inactions.
As a reminder to those who have read any of my books or articles posted online, the place one finds a word is important. Line one is where the main theme of a quatrain is stated. The main theme leads everything else in the poem to that theme. Still, line two states a theme that is separate to the main theme, but still a subset of the main focus. Line three’s words add details to the main theme directly, while indirectly adding to the secondary theme. And, finally, the words in line four add supporting details directly to the secondary theme, but fills in the cracks of the whole quatrain and its themes.
Due to this importance of line order, the highest placement of “Hister” is in the secondary theme of quatrain II-24. In that quatrain, the main theme states: “Bestes farouches de faim fleuves tranner,” which can translate to state, “Wild animals savages from famine rivers to swim across.” However, that sounds like a main theme for Africa, rather than modern Europe.
A major problem with the translation (similar to those seen on TV) is “tranner” is not a readily recognized word. To make it translate as “to swim across,” one has to see it as a misspelling of the Latin word “trānāre,” which is the present infinitive of “trano.” The problem is God knows Latin and French and the spelling of all words, so a “misspelled” word is a red flag that it may be an anagram.
Anagrams open a can of worms, which means they are best left alone until one can see what surrounds a “made-up word” first. That can help one make an educated guess as to the primary intent for those letters. However, because people like to see “to swim across,” that can have some role as a secondary intent.
When one reads “Bestes” as “Wild animals,” the capitalization cannot be overlooked. That means these are significant “Beasts,” and the figurative use in Old French means it could be significant “Dolts,” or “Blockheads,” or “Dimwitted fellows.” This would then make “Wild animals” be a statement about the lack of education of “savages,” “cruel ones,” “cursed ones,” “fierce ones,” or “shrewd ones.”
When one then sees how this is a theme being stated about significant harshness of military troops, perhaps those with a reputation of savagery from their training, one can then read “faim” not as “famine,” but as “hunger,” or “extreme desire for something.” Thus, the main theme is then directing one to see a strong will to defeat an enemy, with purpose behind this savagery and beast-like reputation, keeping in mind that such troops in America go by the name of “SEALS.”
Once this theme is developing as something akin to special forces, the use of the word “flueve” is less likely to refer to a “river” or “stream,” and more like a “flood” or “strong flow.” This is then a statement about a constant flow of these soldiers, like a river flows. When the word is not used as a physical river, as a boundary between nations, the word “tranner” is less likely to have an intent to mean “to swim across,” although the same word, “trānāre,” can mean “to penetrate.”
At this point it is important to understand just how “German” the Danube River is. In reality, the name “Hister” is more a name defining the river of the Histri people (in Histria, a.k.a. Istria or Istros), who lived along its banks where it emptied into the Black Sea, in what is today Romania. According to the Wikipedia article on it, the river flows through 10 European countries, with only 7% being in Germany, and with another 10% in Austria. The other 83% is in Eastern Europe, as follows: Slovakia (5.9%), Hungary (11.6%), Croatia (4.4%), Serbia (10.2%), Romania (29.0% of basin area), Bulgaria (5.9%), Moldova (1.6%), and Ukraine (3.8%).
As this map shows, any mad rush across the Danube River – by German forces during World War II – would have either been a German invasion of Austria (did not happen), a Nazi military campaign against Hungary or Romania (not the history), or an Axis occupation of Yugoslavia (a stretch of the imagination). The better application of a sweeping invasion across the Hister would be in late 1944 or early 1945, when the Soviet troops entered to drive out Germans who were welcomed by Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, Serbia, and/or Croatia. However, the reality is those countries quickly surrendered to threats of invasion, with Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria given land to join the Axis. Croatia declared its independence from Yugoslavia, becoming a puppet government in support of Germany.
All of this history means the secondary theme, which can be read to state, “More part of the encampment on the other side of the Danube will be,” means one has to figure out which side is the “encontre.” That answer comes from knowing line four adds the supporting details to the secondary theme; and, line four says (in one translation), “When the raging flow [name meaning for the “Rhine” River] newly begun [in its infancy] from Germanic race will observe.” The impression of the Rhine River and Germany means “on the other side” of the Danube is Eastern Europe, to the south and east. The “super race” Nazis looked down on the “slaves” of the East, or the Slavs. Thus, it will be those “Wild beasts” building up an encampment in Eastern Europe, before invading the well-to-do Germans of Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
In quatrain V-29, where the capitalized “Hister” is found in line four (as “D’Hister”), it is directly supporting a secondary theme that says (one translation), “L’occupera noir fier vilain inique,” (“He-She-It-They will occupy black proud slave unequal”), such that there will be a major “Occupation,” where “black” is symbolic of the occupiers.
The use of “black” in the quatrains, means Islam primarily, but can also mean African Muslims. “Black” is not a color, but the absence of light. White is the presence of light, with Christ being the light for the world. Thus, “black” is the “antichrist,” or those against Christianity. However, “black” implies religious association (thus Islam), while “red” refers to those without religion, as are Communists in Eastern Europe.
This secondary theme of a “black occupation” separately supports the main theme (in line one), “There [the place of an occupation] liberty [or freedom, as unoccupied] not will be this rescued [or this re-obtained, this recovered, where “recouvrece” is read as “ce recouvré”]. This means the main theme is focused on a loss of freedom, in a place where freedom is held highly as a “right of the people,” where “equality” is revered. These are the concepts behind a “republic” or a “democratic” society. That theme of lost liberty is then challenged by the separate concept of “tyranny” and “forced rule,” where an “unequal” state reflects masters and “slaves.”
As the supporting details for this place of occupation and inequality, where the word “inique” bears the meanings, “wicked, partial, unjust, unreasonable, unrighteous, and impious,” line four indicates “From the Danube,” as well as “To the Danube,” where one side is representative of “slaves” (Slavs of Eastern Europe) and the other those “free” (Western European republics and democratic governments). This is then followed by the naming of “Venice,” which is recognized as a “republic” having been “there” [“là”], but that government state has been “vexed” or “angered” (where “faschee” is translated as “fâchée”).
This, again, has nothing to do with Hitler’s Germany, as Venice was under the control of Mussolini and a voluntary part of the Axis. It is pointing one to a historic event that has not occurred since the times of Nostradamus; and, it acts as a prophecy for our times. It predicts a Western Europe occupation, which will involve those of the Lower Danube region: Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Serbia, primarily.
Finally, in quatrain IV-68, where the lower case spelling of “hister” is found, the meaning behind the name comes from the Latin word “histrio.” As stated, this means “actor.” As such, line three of quatrain IV-68 begins by stating, “Of the Rhine,” where the capitalization refers to the named river that is sourced in Switzerland, then flows north along the French-German border, then through Germany into The Netherlands and the North Sea. This associates “hister” with Western Europe.
Because this is in line three, where the direct supporting details to the main theme are always found, the main theme says, “En l’an bien proche non esloigné de Venus.” This can translate to say, “In a year well near not removed from Venus,” where it must be understood that the planet Venus is the star that appears next to the crescent moon in Islamic flags.
The word “venus” can also be read as a plural number applied to the past participle of “venir,” or “venu,” as “venu-s.” This then becomes a noun, representing “those who came, arrived, approached, happened, grew,” or simply “invading ones.” The capitalization then becomes the significance of those who came, meaning it was not just a few vacationers. When the association of Venus to Islam is then understood, this acts to further detail who came.
When you see line three detailing this presence that came “To the Rhine,” then seeing that they came from “quite nearby,” which on the other side of the Danube would be, and how they could “not be removed,” we can make this quatrain associate to the “Wild animals crossing the Danube,” and how this presence would result in an occupation with a loss of freedom.
This means that after a year of having occupiers still not removed from the regions of the Rhine River a very significant sense of fear and panic will set upon those oppressed people. They will importantly show outbreaks of violence and abnormal behavior. This is then explained as “qu’on dira sont venus,” where the lower case spelling of “venus” is set as the rhyme to the upper case “Venus.” This translation can then be seen as “hysteria that one will say [they] are lust.”
In Old French, the word “venus” was also used to state, “lust, venery [pursuit of sexual gratification], wantonness, unchasteness, and lechery.” (Randle Cotgrave dictionary). This is because Venus was the Roman name for the goddess of lustfulness. Astrologically, Venus is a feminine planet and is the female sex partner to Mars. In the 19th century, women often were diagnosed with the condition of “hysteria” because they were not given the freedom to expect orgasm; and the longer a woman went without sexual gratification the crazier some women could become. Thus, line three is saying that all along the Rhine River, in Switzerland, France, Germany and Netherlands, some Muslims had instilled laws against sexual gratification, which had not been removed in over a year, causing panic and fear to break out.
This was certainly not the case with Adolph Hitler and Nazi Germany, as there was quite the opposite made law. Young girls were expected to be promiscuous and have babies for the Third Reich. They were not deprived of learning what orgasm was, and not forbidden from expecting to be gratified sexually.
Hopefully, this “quickie” explanation of three quatrains, which many have attributed to Nostradamus sneakily naming Hitler as Hister, is enough to show that these are indeed prophecies not yet fulfilled. The way I have just explained them fits a much greater theme that tells of the plans and actions leading to an invasion of Western Europe and the bondage placed upon those peoples by Islamic Laws and overlords. Much more could be said, and I am willing to discuss serious questions in this public forum. Please know that those who read my posts are not all Westerners who loathe someone even hinting at God being real and Nostradamus as a prophet of Christ. The Internet forest is full of eyes and ears that prefer to remain hidden … for now. Someone needs to wake up and say something now … before it is too late, and the hysteria has set in.
NOTE: Wikipedia has an article entitled “Hister,” which includes Nostradamus’ quatrain II-24 (here). Prior to that the article states:
“Hister (genitiveHistri) is the Latin name for the Danube (especially its lower course), or for the people living along its banks. It also appears as Ister, equivalent to the Ancient Greek᾽´Ιστρος, which also meant the Danube or the region around its mouth. The Ancient Greek colony of Histria in today’s Romania was named using this form of the river’s name. The term may be related to the name of the region Istria in what is now northwestern Croatia, where a tribe called the Histri lived in ancient times. Some once thought that the local freshwater streams in Istria derived from a (non-existent) southward branch of the Danube.”
Even this history does not reach back to the true essence of the meaning of the word from which Istria came. The Greek root is said to mean, “strong, swift,” which not only describes the water currents, but the people living along those banks. With this realization, one should know that Nostradamus began line three of quatrain I-40 with “Hystra,” which is the same as “Histria.” Quatrains I-21, III-90, and V-57 present the spelling “Istra” (V-57) and “istra” (in the lower case). Because of the “H” being silent, the possibility exists that “Hister” is intended to be interpreted as “Istre” (a simple anagram), with “Istre” and “Istra” being the Slovenian spelling of “Istrie,” the French spelling of Histria. A verb form (lower case) is then how the Romans saw those people of Histria, which was as raiding tribes on the other side of the Danube River (the Hister). As “raiders” or “pirates,” or those whose strength came from attacking swiftly and then retreating, this does not fit the history of Hitler, who gave orders to never surrender or retreat.
Extra Note: In quatrain IV-68, this is a quatrain that focuses on illegal immigrants flooding into Christian parts of the world. In the main theme, you have to read Venus as Venu-s, where the capitalization states the importance of “those who Came, Arrived, Approached, Drew near, Proceeded, Sprang, Happened, and Fell out.” Those place receiving the illegal migrants and “not sending the away” are in trouble. Line two then says where they come from, which is from “two” places that are targeting the Christian West for conquest. The “two” are “Asia” Minor [the Middle “East”] and North “Africa,” where Muslims are known to live. Line three then tosses out the red herring that makes one think of Germany, where the Rhine and Danube flow; but the etymology of Rhine means to Flow, Run, Move. By golly, that is what those illegal aliens will be doing, “Flowing” into Christian countries all over the West. The word hister the is a Latin variant of histrio, meaning “actor, mime,” implying one who is “boastful” and an “embarrassment maker.” This makes hister be some crazy pope who says Christians are supposed to “love” and see “value” in [symbolic meanings of the planet Venus in astrology]. Not sending them away means to “love” your enemy, who will soon be called on to cut the throats of Christians, taking over their land. Then, a whole lot of “Cries” will scream in pain. There are already “tears” falling in “Malta,” where 20% of the people on that island nation are illegally there. All of this is because the “coast” of Western Europe [i.e.: Christian nations] is so “appetizing” it is “Crying” out to Muslims, come “taste” me! They will be sending more, who will invade [one place] the “Ligurian coast.” So, hister is an evil pope that will make Adolph seem like a saint, in hindsight. If you live in Italy, Spain, or France, copy this down and put it in your wallet or purse, so the collectors of dead corpses will know you had fair warning.
Extra, Extra Note: Hister in French means “Black beetle” or a “Scarab.” When capitalized, this relates to Muslims (the color “Black” is always Muslims in The Prophecies, with “White” always Christians). As a “Scarab,” this points to Egypt, as a Muslim nation. Quatrain II-24 is all about the plan to invade Western Europe (the Mediterranean Sea parts). It is one of many in a series of quatrains that tell that story.
In Matthew 7:6, Jesus was remembered to have said, “Do not give what is holy to dogs, and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.” (New International Version) Jesus tossed out that tidbit of information as part of the three-chapter remembrance of his “Sermon on the Mount.”
In the letter of Preface written as the introduction to Les Propheties of Nostradamus, he quoted that verse. Nostradamus wrote in Latin words (versus Old French), which was an indication that he was speaking in an orthodox religious voice. This is what he wrote (in French/Latin):
Considerant aussi la sentence du vray Sauveur : Nolite sanctum dare canibus , nec mittatis margaritas ante porcos , ne conculcent pedibus & conversi dirumpant vos.
That literally translates to state:
Considering also there decree of true Savior : Do not holy give to dogs , nor may you cast pearls before swine , lest they would trample down feet & they turned breaking off you.
While this appears to be a direct quote, the Latin Vulgate states this as:
nolite dare sanctum canibus neque mittatis margaritas vestras ante porcos ne forte conculcent eas pedibus suis et conversi disrumpant vos
Notice the absence of punctuation, with difference in the language. Nostradamus was not writing what he thought his Latin Bible had written about this verse. Nostradamus was writing what the voice of Jesus Christ (the original source of the quote) told him to write, exactly as he wrote it. The breakdown into four segments means each element of this was important to realize. The four segments state (with viable replacement words used):
Be unwilling sacred places to surrender dogs
Not may you release terms of endearment in front of pigs
in order not to they would disregard feet
& they recoiled shattering you.
Certainly, this is a strong statement against allowing evil people to gain control of Christianity [even when said during the times of the Temple evil ones]. The Temple had long been destroyed by the Romans, when Nostradamus wrote this. It says (metaphorically) the churches will be overrun by dogs and the people allowed to be hired as priests-pastors-preachers will be pigs. Their whole point and focus will be to keep anyone from carrying the message of an Apostle, which is the warning that not being reborn as Jesus Christ [the true Savior resurrected within one’s soul-being] means no eternal life. Anyone taking that message to the world [Nostradamus being one] would be destroyed, just as Jesus of Nazareth was crucified.
I believe anyone who takes a serious look at what Nostradamus wrote here will come up with the same opinion … unless one is a dog or a pig.
This means the whole point of this writing now is to ask, “Have you ever had a meaningful conversation with a dog or a pig?”
We all know the answer is “No.” Still, dogs might act like they know some stuff; but they don’t know anything.
Don’t be fooled by the dogs and pigs of the world. They only care for themselves. Do not trust your life (including soul) to anyone other than yourself.
And, for that to go anywhere worthwhile, you best figure out how to open your heart, mind, and soul to God.
Back in November 2011, I gave one of three presentations on “The Astrology of Nostradamus.” Each place I presented, I offered a retooled version of the same basic information, based on what listeners missed because I did not make a point clear. The first place I presented was in Fort Worth, Texas. Here is the summation of that presentation:
The reason this review made that point is I presented to them the statements made by Nostradamus in his letter of explanation about the meaning to be found in The Prophecies, which (as published in 1568) appeared at the top of the eighth page reproducing that letter. There Nostradamus wrote:
Mais l’injure du temps ô serenissime Roy requiert que telz secretz evenemens ne soyent manifestez, que par ænigmatique sentence, n’ayant que un seul sens, & unique intelligence, sans y avoir rien mis d’ambigue ne emphibologique calculation :
The use of “emphibologique” must be realized as not a known word, which implies it is misspelled and should be read as “amphibologique,” which is a state of the word “amphibologie,” meaning (according to a 1611 Old French-Old English dictionary) “A doubtful, or double, meaning, in one, or many words.” That is precisely how the spelling of “emphibologique” must be understood. It is a word of double meaning.
The etymology of “amphibological” says it is a combined form word, joining “amphi- (“both”) and ballein (“to throw”). Webster’s says of this etymology, “[the word] literally means “encompassing” or “hitting at both ends”; figuratively it means “ambiguous.” They go on to use examples, writing: “Amphibology is an equivocator’s friend. An editor who has been sent an unsolicited manuscript to critique, for example, might reply, “I shall lose no time in reading your book.” Or a dinner guest who feels the onset of heartburn might say something like, “Ah, that was a meal I shall not soon forget!” But amphibology’s ambiguity can be unintended and undesirable as well, as in “When Mom talked to Judy, she said she might call her back the next day.” (Who said who might call whom back?)”*
The misspelling is then overlooking the obvious, such that the word itself becomes “amphibological.” That meaning is intentionally meant to be grasped, but there is more that is implied, rather than clearly stated. The actual presentation as “emphibologique” must then be seen as a manufactured word, where the prefix (so to speak) is rooted in the French word (from Greek) “emphatique” (from “emphinine“), where that prefix implies an effort “to exhibit, to show, to indicate.” where some stressfulness is the “emphasis.” This word combined with the intent to direct one to a double use of words then says that Nostradamus used this one word to explain to his king that the language of The Prophecies had to be read in a manner that took one beyond the obvious and literal. The word should be read as an “emphasis” needed to be placed on realizing everything has more than one meaning.
The whole of what Nostradamus wrote in this small part of his letter to King Henry II of France (dated 1558) can translate to state this:
“But the injury to the times oh most-serene King required that such ones secrets not having manifested ones, that by reason of enigmatic sentence, not having that one alone understanding, & unique intelligence, without here to have anything put with ambiguous not amphibologic calculation :”
In this, one example of an emphasis is immediately being placed on “oh most-serene King,” such that the superlative use of “serenissime,” in a letter stated to be an “epistle to King Henry the second of France,” comes off as if Nostradamus is buttering up Henry by calling him the greatest King that ever lived. In reality, Nostradamus is making a truthful statement that God is such a King, the one to who Henry owed his kingship , as of the bloodline of Jesus the Christ. Thus, Nostradamus was filled with the Holy Spirit of God and reborn as His Son, becoming the flesh in which Jesus had become the King of Nostradamus (as Henry should have known personally also).
It was that presence, which was “most-serene” that used Nostradamus as a prophet of God. It was that divine influence that did not want Nostradamus to make anything in The Prophecies be clearly stated before the right time, which was still hundreds of years away. As such, everything in The Prophecies is written in the divine language of prophecy, which will not be understood until God sends another prophet to make understanding possible. Until then, the secrets within the words will not be known as the truth they hold.
The reasoning of brains will think wrongly of the “enigmatic sentences,” when the syntax of French will misunderstand the writings and wrongly think punctuation marked sentences. This is how the syntax of French dictates sentences to be normally divided (capitalized first word, period at the end). This means a “unique intelligence” is that which is beyond a normal brain’s capacity (regardless of how high that brain is intellectually; and the king of France had his wise men looking at The Prophecies). For everything that the wise discounts as ambiguous in The Prophecies, in the end it will not be found as such. Everything will be found specific and highly accurate. The way to make that determination is to realize the multiplicity of meaning the text has.
The points I tried to make in my three presentations about “The Astrology of Nostradamus” were never achieved, mostly because of ignorance in the listeners, indifferences in the listeners, or my inability to strike an invisible nail on the head, squarely. The third time I presented, it was to a small astrological group that was led by the only one who had a grasp of astrology, with everyone else a novice that just liked knowing an astrologer. By the time I tried to focus heavily on how astrology is a most amphibological language, everything went over their heads. The point that I failed to properly convey was how The Prophecies of Nostradamus was a language that must be compared to the language that astrology is. No one grasped that.
Nostradamus knew astrology. He was thus fluent in the language of astrology. In many of his quatrains he wrote astrological terms, which appeared as recognizable words that the readers translated properly. Examples are: Aries, Mars, Saturn, and Moon (just to name a few). Each of those words has more than one meaning, with all of those meanings being correct, but many of them different, based on the symbolism each word conveys. Then, more frequently perhaps, Nostradamus wrote in terms that implied astrology, where examples are: the Arrow (Sagittarius); the Scythe (Saturn); the Virgin (Virgo), and the head of the dragon (the North Node). Further, he wrote metaphorically, using the names of mythology to evoke the essence of astrology. For example, he wrote Lune, Selene, Artimis and Diana, all of which convey the Moon in some way. Every one of his symbolic uses conveyed astrology to those who understood the language of astrology, with each reference then yielding many imaginations as to what those symbols meant. Still, the same words conveyed completely different imagery to readers that did not understand the language of astrology.
For an astrologer a simple sentence would be like: “You have Mars in Virgo in your eighth house.” Every one of those words would be heard and understood as a sentence that said: “A planet is in an astrological sign, in something called a house.” Imagery would be based on that understanding. The same sentence spoken to another astrologer would then send the one hearing that statement deep into thought, reflecting on all the possibilities that one statement conveyed. In fact, the language of astrology would say that as three symbols, which would be drawn from a graphic picture of symbols – a natal chart.
A book could be written about all the sentences one chart can form.
The language of astrology is written in symbols, with each symbol having multiple meanings … including a way to be written in different symbols, those of an alphabet used by a different language.
The language of astrology creates enigmatic sentences. Everything is secret, in need of manifesting in interpretation. Because ordinary people who do not understand the language of astrology cannot make heads or tails out of an astrological sentence, it demands one have unique intelligence, which becomes a fluency in that foreign language. Without one being in possession of such mastery, everything becomes as ambiguous as thinking some far away planet can have any effect on human beings on planet earth. Still, when someone goes to an astrologer with a problem and listens to the astrologer speak about their lives as if he or she knows what is going on, when he or she is simply reading symbols on a page (or screen), the layers of one’s life unfold and reveal a possible remedy. The same symbols are found in everyone’s charts and everyone is different, so everything about the language of astrology is amphibological. It all demands the right calculations.
While I can talk to people about this and those who understand astrology can grasp this rather simple concept, my lectures were always well over an hour, with a break in the middle, so everyone could stretch their brain and take a leak. The majority of the presentations dealt with the astrological terms Nostradamus wrote, with me using many words to explain the depth of that meaning. Still, because I limited the presentations to “The Astrology of Nostradamus,” there was never enough time to present how The Prophecies … everything within that heading … is no different than me passing out some natal chart of astrological symbols and then telling the group: That is what The Prophecies says. No one would be able to stand up and tell the others exactly what the chart said to him or her in whole or part, because most would not know more than seeing marks on paper, with colorful lines drawn connecting some of them. That is how The Prophecies has been viewed ever since 1555 and it is why the King of France demanded Nostradamus explain his work, which he did in a letter sent in 1558. Still, that letter, as presented to the king, was just as difficult to understand as was the contents of the book that raised so many questions.
The one thing that makes astrology work is the same one thing that makes understanding The Prophecies come to the forefront. That is God. A human brain can learn some tricks, like how to speak astrology and how to make some sense of what an astrological chart says in symbols. The same human brain can learn French and read The Prophecies and think it can make some sense of the odd use of words (many seemingly misspelled). However, everyone is just pissing in the wind, because there is too much that can be said in symbols to ever begin to try and figure it all out.
That is why naysayers of Nostradamus think he wrote ambiguous stuff that can mean anything (when in reality, “anything” is limited to the boundaries of meaning each word has). In the explanation to Henry II, Nostradamus told him “without here to have anything put with ambiguous.” Everything had concrete meaning, but the only way to see that meaning was to become one with the “most-serene King,” which is God Almighty. The truth of a natal chart can only come from divine inspiration; and, the truth of The Prophecies likewise requires the same source of insight.
Sure, the human brain can figure some things out. A novice astrologer can figure out a few things about a natal chart, as long as it uses a “cookbook” of meanings to refer to. What is seen is not false, so the truth can show through, even to the weakest of brains. However, the whole truth is hidden from view, never to be seen without God’s help.
That is what I tried to convey in my three presentation on The Astrology of Nostradamus. The Prophecies is written divinely, in a language that goes beyond the normal, to the spiritual. You can look at it all day long, but always come away with questions about what it means. Everything can be summed up to mean, “Come to know God or face a horrid prophecy being fulfilled.” To reach that point requires deep faith and self-sacrifice for a higher purpose. To achieve that state of being, then the meaning of The Prophecies will disappear completely; and, there will be no reason to understand what it says.
In the Epistle to Henry II (King of France), Nostradmaus wrote the word Antechrist (and antechrist) five times (2 capitalized and 3 lower-case). He wrote the lower-case word twice in the quatrains, once in quatrain VIII-77 and also in X-66. This is the French spelling (antéchrist) that translates as “antichrist.”
In the Epistle to Henry, he wrote:
Puis le grand empyre de l’Antechrist commencera dans la Atila
Then him great empire of the Antichrist will begin within there Atila
deschassant a l’abomination de l’Antechrist,
driving away with the horrible thing from the Antichrist,
qui sera le second antechrist,
which will be him second antichrist,
qui seront par leur ignorance seduitz par langues qui trencheront plus que nul glaive entre les mains de l’insense le susdit regne de l’antechrist ne durera que jusques au definement de ce nay pres de l’eage
who will be through their lack of knowledge seduced ones by tongues which will be cutting more than not any sword between them hands from the unreasonable him aforementioned reign to the to the antichrist not will last whom until with the wasting away of this born close by to the age
bruslez en apres l’antechrist sera le prince infernal,
inflamed ones in after the antichrist will be him prince hellish,
In quatrain VIII-77, line one (main them statement):
L’antechrist trois bien tost annichilez,
The antichrist three quite quickly brought to nothing ones,
In quatrain X-66, line three (supporting details to the main theme statement):
Roy Reb. auront un si faulx antechrist,
Chief Rebel will be holding one in sort false antichrist,
As a junior Nostradamus detective, play with those translations and see if all of the references can be pointing to the same, singular “antichrist.” When you are done there, I want you to contemplate how the Apostle John (the Beloved) wrote in his Epistles (1 John ans 2 John) the word “antichrist” (some form of antichristos or ἀντίχριστος) five times (1 John 2:18 twice, one singular and one plural; 1 John 2:22, 1 John 4:3, in the genetive or possessive case – “of antichrist”; and in 2 John 1:7).
Those say:
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. (1 John 2:18, KJV)
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:22, KJV)
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 John 4:3, KJV)
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. (2 John 1:7, KJV)
Please note that John also wrote the Apocalypse (Revelation), but he did not write the word “antichrist” in that Epistle.
When one sees how John was an Apostle, one needs to associate Nostradamus to the same divine state of being. The plural number of “antichrists” is a statement that every Muslim could justify, but to be “anti-Christ,” one needs to be either atheist (which the Jews fill many positions as) or someone within the ranks of Christians who is trying to destroy that way of life. When John wrote his Epistles, he was a true Christian that was attacked by orthodox Jews for his faith that differed from their beliefs.
Here is a picture of a mass gathering of antichrists in 2024.
Just to put a moral on this story, there are many more “antichrists” in the world today than there are true Apostles, like John and Nostradamus. If one denies the Father and the Son, then one turns away from Salvation and condemns one’s own soul.
This term is use in Logic to find an argument fallible. Merriam-Webster says it mean, “having an uncertain or irregular outcome.” Collins Dictionary lists this as it synonyms: “equivocal; uncertain; changing; ambiguous.” Google’s AI Overview hits it on the head by stating, “In general, “amphibolic” means ambiguous, uncertain, or equivocal, particularly when referring to a statement or phrase where the meaning is unclear due to grammatical structure.” That goes on to explain as ambiguous: “The term “amphibolic” is often used to describe situations where the meaning is open to multiple interpretations. This can happen with language, where a sentence’s structure allows for different readings.” As to equivocation they show: “”Amphibolic” can also refer to language that uses words or phrases with multiple meanings, making it difficult to determine the speaker’s true intent.” All of these mean multiplicity of meaning leads to a flawed argument, thus lacking validity.
Television commercials are full of such lack of reasoning, speaking ambiguous words to zombies that will think that bull dung means something is worth buying. Some could then say the same about The Prophecies of Nostradamus, which has them laugh at the premise of prophecy, saying, that could mean anything.
Of course that is amphibolic, because “anything” is an impossibility, when one knows a written word has limitations as to what definitions can apply in usage.
Nostradamus addressed this in his epistle to King Henry II of France. At one point he wrote, “sans y avoir rien mis d’ambigue ne emphibologique calculation :,” which can be translated to say, “without here to have anything put with ambiguous not amphibologic calculation :“. This is a disclaimer that there is nothing in the letters or verses is uncertain or unclear due to grammatical structure. Still, it says everything is purposefully written to appear to be ambiguous and impossible to understand, due to multiplicity of word meanings.
This is why Jesus said, “I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.” (Matthew 11:25, KJV) That verse alone is an example of amphibolic wording. The “wise and prudent” read “Lord of heaven and earth” and think only in the physical planet “earth” and the space above as some distant “heaven.” The capitalized Greek word Kyrie can only be seen as a repeating of “Father” (a capitalized Pater), when the soul of Jesus is the “Lord” of the “soul,” which is where “heaven” is. The word “heaven” means the spiritual, while “earth” means the “physical,” as a “body of flesh” (made of dust from the “earth”). The “wise and prudent” read the words and think they known the meaning. However, they are wrong, as the truth is hidden from them. That makes “babes” be the innocent souls reborn from above, who cannot think for themselves. The obey what the “Lord” tells them. The “Lord” then speaks the truth of divine Scripture (which includes Nostradamus’ Prophecies) through the mouths of “babes.”
This means understanding Holy Scripture follows the same logical rules as does understanding The Prophecies of Nostradamus. It is divine syntax, not standard. The “wise and prudent” have made reading an automatic process, where their quick brains can read words and instantly know what the meaning is, while just as quickly reading some foreign language (like is divine syntax) and tossing the work away, huffing, “This is rubbish.”
This is why so many reject astrology. It is a divine language. It is an art, not a science. Astrology is amphibolic purposefully. If you do not know the language, you cannot understand anything stated simply. In the quatrains, Nostradamus referred to the Sun, the Moon, Venus, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Every one of those words has nothing to do with a light or orb in the heavens. It requires understanding of what those words represent.
Astrology is not a science. It was disproved by the Roman Catholic Church, just because they could not figure out how to make sense of it, in order to profit from its use. Thank the Father from keeping those “wise and prudent” away from the truth of astrology that was hidden from them. The same goes for bonzos that try to act like astrologers, when they do not understand that astrology is like a mirror. It only reflects back to the one looking into it. What one sees in the mirror is not what someone else will see, when the mirror is handed to another to see. This means a mirror is amphibolic; but does that make it not something that can be put to good use, if used properly?
This is breaking news tonight (June 12, 2025). This is something that I must post, because Nostradamus tells a story in quatrains that are about the End Times war, which will be when nuclear missiles will be deployed, in massive numbers.
The thing about Iran developing its own nuclear weapons is what is called a red herring. This means it bears the definition, “a clue or piece of information that is, or is intended to be, misleading or distracting.” (Oxford Languages Dictionary) It is why I posted this picture to one of my articles about the Israel-Hamas mess.
Notice the scythe and hammer?
Iran purchased Soviet nukes that were supposedly dismantled and destroyed, as per the Strategic Arms Limitations Treaty that the U.S.A. and the U.S.S.R. agreed to, back in the 80s. Well guess what? The U.N. inspectors going to the Soviet Union to witness this process were not allowed to see what they needed to see. The reason? The lying Communists had no intent to lessen their nukes. They were doing that to get the hnest Abe Americans to cut their throats and reduce their weapons of mass destruction.
When the Soviet Union pretended to collapse, over a few porcupine quills from Afghanistan and Reagan’s pretend Star Wars Defense Initiave. Playing dead released millions of Eastern European Communists into the Western nation. Hey Germany, how was that Communist Merkle working out for you? Well, when they went in to inspect this collapse, they found many ‘missing’ Soviet nukes, including suitcase versions.
The Soviets, à la Vlad ‘the Impaler’ Putin, K.G.B. extraordinaire, premier for a few years, president for life of the ‘new Russia,’ sold Iran all the nuclear missiles they could pay for with oil money and the pallets of cash sent to them by Barack Hussein Obama. They had these purchased before September 11, 2001. Osammy been Lammin knew this and planned to declare war on the United States (the Great Satan in their eyes). That would draw the Americans into the spider web that supposedly felled the giant Commies, with the C.I.A. training bin Laden in guerrilla warfare tactics and giving the Mujahideen Stinger missiles to use against Soviet helicopters and tanks. While all eyes were on Afghanistan (then the hoax of Saddam Hussein having weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, rather than Iran), the Russkies were shipping nuclear missiles in parts to North African seaports. Now, all eyes are on Iran trying to build a nuke.
A little logic needs to be applied to this news today. The ONLY reason Iran wants to go to war with the Great Satan is the Great Satan protects the Jews who stole Palestine. Do you think the Iranians would be doing their Palestinian brothers and sisters a favor by nuking Jerusalem and all the places Palestinians want to call home again, after the Jews are removed? NO! They will NEVER nuke Palestine.
They will, however, nuke EVERY Christian country in the world, by surprise, forcing them all to surrender, without ever firing one nuke back.
This is the story of the End Times war. It will be the beginning of the end, but Yahweh will have the last laugh and the ones selling the nukes and pushing the “fire” buttons will find eternal punishment awaiting their souls.
This is an article that comes from a French website that promotes travel in southern France. The Languedoc is the name of an ancient region, which today is Languedoc-Roussillon. The word languedoc breaks down into langue d’oc, which means “language of Occitan.” This is the language spoken most frequently in the past, which is now feared to be a dying language, soon to become dead. Nostradamus would have been fluent in Occitan, and many quatrains list places in this region. That makes southern France be an important place in the End Times. Still, there is a greater importance in understanding how the values of Christianity will be severely challenged in this future that is coming. It will be as intense as the history of the Cathars, who almost became extinct after the Albigensian Crusade, also referred to as the Cathar Crusade.
Because the axiom says history is written by the victors, the history of the Cathar people is like the Occitan language, nearly dead. The people who live in what is still called Cathar Country of southwestern France do their part to keep both the language and histories living. So, please read what those closest to the topic have written.

The Cathars were a religious group who appeared in Europe in the eleventh century, their origins something of a mystery though there is reason to believe their ideas came from Persia by way of the Byzantine Empire, the Balkans and Northern Italy. Records from the Roman Catholic Church mention them under various names and in various places. Catholic theologians debated with themselves for centuries whether Cathars were Christian heretics or whether they were not Christians at all. The question is apparently still open. Roman Catholics still refer to Cathar belief as “the Great Heresy” though the official Catholic position is that Catharism is not Christian at all.
Pope Innocent III excommunicates a group of Cathars. From the fourteenth century, Chronique de France (Chronique de St Denis), British Library, Royal 16, g VI f374v.Cathars believed in two principles, a good creator god and his evil adversary (much like God and Satan of mainstream Christianity). Cathars called themselves Christians; their neighbours distinguished them as “Good Christians”. The Catholic Church called them Albigenses, or less frequently Cathars.
Cathars maintained a Church hierarchy and practiced a range of ceremonies, but rejected any idea of priesthood or the use of church buildings. They divided into ordinary believers who led ordinary medieval lives and an inner Elect of Parfaits (men) and Parfaites (women) who led extremely ascetic lives yet still worked for their living – generally in itinerant manual trades like weaving. Cathars believed in reincarnation and refused to eat meat or other animal products. They were strict about biblical injunctions – notably those about living in poverty, not telling lies, not killing and not swearing oaths.
Basic Cathar tenets led to some surprising logical implications. For example they largely regarded men and women as equals, and had no doctrinal objection to contraception, euthanasia or suicide. In some respects the Cathar and Catholic Churches were polar opposites. For example the Cathar Church taught that all non-procreative sex was better than any procreative sex. The Catholic Church taught – and still teaches – exactly the opposite. Both positions produced interesting results. Following their tenet, Catholics concluded that masturbation was a far greater sin than rape, as mediaeval penitentials confirm. Following their principles, Cathar could deduce that sexual intercourse between man and wife was more culpable than homosexual sex.
Defensless Languedoc Cathars are cut down by French Catholic Crusaders. From the fourteenth century Chronique de France (Chronique de St Denis), British Library, Royal 16, g VI f374v. This is the right hand side of a two panel illustration (The left half is shown above). In this panel The leading crusader can be identified by his coat of arms as Simon de Montfort. In the Languedoc, famous at the time for its high culture, tolerance and liberalism, the Cathar religion took root and gained more and more adherents during the twelfth century. By the early thirteenth century Catharism was probably the majority religion in the area, supported by the nobility as well as the common people. This was yet another annoyance to the Roman Church which considered the feudal system to be divinely ordained as the natural order (Cathars disliked the feudal system because it depended on oath taking). In open debates with leading Catholic theologians Cathars seem to have come out on top. This was embarrassing for the Roman Church, not least because they had fielded the best professional preachers in Europe against what they saw as a collection of uneducated weavers and other manual workers. Worse still a number of Catholic priests had become Cathar adherents (Catharism was a religion that seems to have appealed especially to the theologically literate. Whole Cathedral chapters are known to have defected). Worse, the Catholic Church was held up to public ridicule (some of the richest men in Christendom, bejeweled, dressed in finery, and preaching poverty, provided an irresistible target even to contemporary Catholics in the Languedoc). Worst yet, Cathars refused to pay tithes to the Catholic Church.
The Cathar view of the Catholic Church was as bleak as the Catholic Church’s view of the Cathar Church. On the Cathar side it manifested itself in ridiculing Catholic doctrine and practices, and characterizing the Catholic Church as the “Church of Wolves”. The Catholics accused Cathars of heresy or apostasy and said they belonged to the “Synagogue of Satan”. The Catholic side created some striking propaganda. When the propaganda proved only partly successful, there was only one option left – a crusade – the Albigensian Crusade.
The Battle of Muret (1213), a turning point in the Cathar Crusade depicted in Grandes Chroniques de France, Manuscrit français 2813, fol. 252v. (created 1375-1380), in the Bibliothèque nationale de France The Pope, Innocent III, called a formal Crusade against the Cathars of the Languedoc, appointing a series of military leaders to head his Holy Army. The first was a Cistercian abbot (Arnaud Amaury) now best remembered for his command at Béziers “Kill them all. God will know his own”. The second was Simon de Montfort now remembered as the father of another Simon de Montfort, a prominent figure in English parliamentary history. The war against the Cathars of the Languedoc continued for two generations. In the later phases the Kings of France would take over as leaders of the crusade, which thus became a Royal Crusade.
Simon de Montfort has been connected to this “Kill them all” response.
From 1208, a war of terror was waged against the indigenous population and their rulers: Raymond VI of Toulouse, Raymond-Roger Trencavel, Raymond Roger of Foix in the first generation and Raymond VII of Toulouse, Raymond Trencavel II, and Roger Bernard II of Foix in the second generation. During this period an estimated 500,000 Languedoc men women and children were massacred – Catholics as well as Cathars. The Counts of Toulouse and their allies were dispossessed and humiliated, and their lands annexed to France. Educated and tolerant Languedoc rulers were replaced by relative barbarians; Dominic Guzmán (later Saint Dominic) founded the Dominican Order and soon afterwards the Inquisition, manned by his Dominicans, was established explicitly to wipe out the last vestiges of resistance. Persecutions of Languedoc Jews and other minorities were initiated; the culture of the troubadours was lost as their cultured patrons were reduced to wandering refugees known as faidits. Their characteristic concept of “paratge”, a whole sophisticated world-view, was almost destroyed, leaving us a pale imitation in our idea of chivalry. Lay learning was discouraged and the reading of the bible became a capital crime. Tithes were enforced. The Languedoc started its long economic decline to become the poorest region in France; and the language of the area, Occitan, began its descent from the foremost literary language in Europe to a regional dialect, disparaged by the French as a patois.
At the end of the extermination of the Cathars, the Roman Church had proof that a sustained campaign of genocide can work. It also had the precedent of an internal Crusade within Christendom, and the machinery of the first modern police state that could be wheeled out for the Spanish Inquisition, and again for later Inquisitions and genocides.
Voltaire observed that “there was never anything as unjust as the war against the Albigensians”.
Catharism is often said to have been completely eradicated by the end of the fourteenth century. Yet there are more than a few vestiges even today, apart from the enduring memory of Cathar “martyrdom” and the ruins of the famous “Cathar castles”, including the Château of Montségur ( The Name in Occitan. Click here to find out more about occitan. Montsegùr). There are even Cathars alive today, or at least people claiming to be modern Cathars. There is a flourishing, if largely superficial, Cathar tourist industry in the Languedoc, and especially in the Aude département. As we see the eight-hundredth anniversary of important events, more and more memorials are springing up on the sites of massacres. There is also an increasing community of historians and other academics engaged in serious Cathar studies. Interestingly, to date, the deeper scholars have dug, the more they have vindicated Cathar claims to represent a survival of the Earliest Christian Church.
The Cathars would seek shelter at night in the Templar castles, before going out to be massared the next day.
Arguably just as interesting, Protestant ideas share much in common with Cathar ideas, and there is some reason to believe that early reformers were aware of the Cathar tradition. Even today some Protestant Churches claim a Cathar heritage. Tantalizingly, weavers were commonly accused of spreading Protestant ideas in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, just as their antecedents in the same trade had been accused of spreading Cathar ideas in Medieval times.
It can even be argued that in many respects Roman Catholic ideas have shifted over the centuries ever further from the Church’s medieval teaching and ever closer to Cathar teaching.
