In the plethora of work that I have done translating The Prophecies of Nostradamus, which I have done several times over, with every quatrain I interpret I treat with the respect of using a translation tool to ensure I am translating it properly, a key thing that I reference is repeating terms. This is not as simple as it might seem, as Nostradamus was led to alter many words, so the repeated terms are not all spelled the same. Add to this, there are many words that are different, but have the same general translation meaning. This led me to devise a tool (one of a few) that I can use to make references to these things.

Long ago, I realized that it saved much time by creating a matrix of each quatrain, where the French words written in each line was listed down a left-hand column, with English translation possibilities in columns going from left to right. Each matrix takes up a full page of 8.5 X 11 paper, so a book of the matrices would be (minimally) 950 pages long (one thick book).
I have then created a spreadsheet that lists down the left-hand column the alphabetized words, sorted A to Z in multiple pages, with details about each work in the column to the right of that and a list of every quatrain where each particular spelling is found. Words like à and de appear most frequently.
This was initially a source that I found online, produced by a man named Greg Lindahl, as astrophysicist-astronomer in Pala Alto, California. There were some problems with that list, which led me to create my own, using the 1568 Lyon edition for the word sort. Still, without his website (no longer posted), I might not have had the idea to make my own.
In addition to the quatrain, I found it helpful to add in separate word sorts for the two letters. The result is a work I have published for anyone else who is looking to delve deeper into what Nostradamus wrote. The name of that work is The Concordance to The Prophecies of Nostradamus (1568 Lyon edition: with A Concordance to the Letters and Reproductions of those Letters. It is not listed as me being the author, because Nostradamus wrote the text that has been sorted into a concordance. It is listed as a work in the Katrina Pearls Nostradamus Series, as prepared by me.
Here is a picture of that book’s front cover. Notice a QRC is alongside it, which is generated by the printer, Ingram Sparks. Anyone wanting to do serious study of The Prophecies might find this a valuable tool. By scanning the QRC, one will be taken to the Ingram Sparks website, where information and details about the book can be found, along with a discounted price for making a purchase directly through them. I have tested one QRC and found it safe and working, with all business secured and between the customer and Ingram Sparks.
